Birth Doula Services

Call me for a free, no obligation meeting to determine if I am the right doula for you.
Once we decide if we are a good match you will receive:
•2 prenatal meetings to share information, get acquainted and set up your birth plan. Additional prenatal meetings, if needed, can be scheduled for an hourly fee of $30.
•Continuous phone and email support as needed 24 hours a day from the time you hire me until your baby's birth.
•Assistance with your "birth wish list" or "birth preference list", if you wish to write one.
•Continuous support from the time you go into labor until the baby is born.
•Breastfeeding support after birth and at the postpartum visit.
•Photography as you wish.
•One postpartum visit scheduled 2-7 days after your baby's birth day. Additional postpartum visits can be requested and scheduled for an hourly fee of $30.
The current fee for all services listed above is $500. A $250 deposit is due upon signing the contract and the remaining $250 is due by your 37th week.
Postpartum Doula Services
My goal as a postpartum doula is to nurture, support, and empower parents to be able to independently care for their new baby and adjust to their growing family. My support will help build your confidence and energy so that you will not need me for very long. Because of my current training as a midwife, I have an understanding of the needs of babies and families which I share with my clients.
The postpartum care includes (but is not limited to):
* Breast feeding support and instruction
* Help with identifying normal healing vs problems with mom after birth
* Help with baby care if mom needs to nap or do other care for herself
* Identifying and solving feeding problems (with referrals if necessary)
* Help with understanding baby cues & soothing baby
* Help with basic newborn care (bathing, diapering, cord care, swaddling, circumcision after care if needed, etc.)
* Sibling support
* Light errands
* Resources & referrals as needed
* and more.
Services fee is $30 an hour
Childbirth Classes
Consists of a series of five, one in a half to two hour classes. One on one with doula and parents. This creates a more open environment for parents to communicate with their doula. Also, this allows for more tailoring to parent’s needs, unlike what a person would get in a group environment.
Class curriculum is as follows
1st meeting: General prenatal health for mom and fetus
2nd meeting: What to expect during labor and delivery
3rd meeting: How to move while in labor
4th meeting: Breastfeeding
5th meeting: Postpartum care for mom and baby
